Bassem Eid is a Jerusalem-based political analyst, human rights pioneer and expert commentator in Arab and Palestinian affairs. He is vocal about the core problems facing Palestinian society that you won't hear about on the news, at the United Nations or on college campuses: Palestinian Authority and Hamas corruption, lack of civil rights and liberties, poor employment and educational opportunities, and how the BDS movement is harmful to any peaceful solution to the conflict.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5 @ 6:00 PM WITH BASSEM EID

"THE HISTORY OF ISRAEL"

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12 @ 12:00 PM WITH RON WASSERMAN

Ron Wasserman is the Chairman of Fuel For Truth (FFT), an all-volunteer Israel advocacy training organization for young adults based in New York and Washington, DC. For the past five years Ron has led FFT's Boot Camp program by presenting the facts and history behind the Middle East conflict and creation of the Jewish State. In this capacity, he has helped train hundreds of young professionals in understanding the history of Israel and the conflict in order for them to have their own opinions based on fact and possess the confidence to intelligently articulate their views.

Justin Ellis is the President of Fuel For Truth (FFT), an all-volunteer Israel advocacy training organization for young adults based in New York and Washington, DC. As one of the FFT's Boot Camp instructors he educates program participants on the major topics often raised during conversations about Israel and how to address them, including whether land is the basis of the conflict, the history of settlements and how they impact the proposed two-state solution, the merits of BDS, the situation in Gaza and Palestinian refugees.

"ABOVE AND BEYOND"

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26 @ 6:00 PM

In 1948, a group of World War II pilots volunteered to fight for Israel in the War of Independence. As members of 'Machal' -- volunteers from abroad -- this ragtag band of brothers not only turned the tide of the war, preventing the possible annihilation of Israel at the very moment of its birth; they also laid the groundwork for the Israeli Air Force. ABOVE AND BEYOND is their story. The first major feature-length documentary about the foreign airmen in the War of Independence, ABOVE AND BEYOND brings together new interviews with pilots from the '48 War, as well as leading scholars and statesmen, including Shimon Peres, to present an extraordinary, little-known tale with reverberations up to the present day.
